Risk Disclosure
Last updated 8 October 2026
Aster helps you trade with more discipline. It can't make trading safe. Please read this before you rely on anything Aster shows you.
1.Trading carries a high risk of loss
Trading shares, futures, options, currencies, commodities and CFDs can lose you money quickly, and leveraged products can lose you more than you put in. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
SEBI's studies of individual traders in India's equity futures and options found that around 9 in 10 of them made a net loss over the periods studied. Following rules more closely doesn't change that the odds are against short-term traders.
Some instruments, such as foreign exchange pairs and CFDs offered by brokers outside India, may not be permitted for residents of India. Aster doesn't check whether your broker or instruments are permitted for you; that is your responsibility.
2.Past performance isn't a guide to the future
Aster looks at your past trades: which hours, days, instruments and habits made or lost you money. Patterns in the past may not repeat. A rule that “would have saved” you money on your history may not save you anything, or may cost you, on future trades. Figures on our website marked as illustrative are examples, not real results.
3.AI output can be wrong
Parts of Aster are written by an AI model: your analysis, findings and the wording of proposed rules. AI models can misread data, state things that aren't true, or sound more certain than they should. The numbers we show are computed from your data, but that data can itself be incomplete or misread from a broker file. Check anything that matters before you act on it.
4.Rules and scores are educational, not advice
Aster's rules, discipline score, streaks, violations, live rule status and strategy templates are tools to help you follow a process you choose. They are not investment advice and not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Aster is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst.
A high discipline score doesn't mean you'll make money, and a rule marked “clear” on the live page doesn't mean a trade is a good one. Every decision to trade is yours.
5.Data, delays and outages
Live rule status, imported trades and charts depend on your broker, our providers and your connection. They can be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. Charts embedded from TradingView may be delayed or end-of-day for some markets. Don't rely on Aster as your only record of open positions or losses for the day; your broker's platform is the authoritative record.
6.Your responsibility
You are responsible for your trading decisions and their results, for following the rules of your broker and exchange, and for the taxes on your trading. If you're unsure whether a product suits you, speak to a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Questions about this disclosure: [CONTACT EMAIL]. See also our Terms of Service.
